Join us for the 2023 MainStage production of Disney's Frozen Jr! This promises to be Pittsboro's coolest summer yet, with performances in June 2023. Registration is open to ages 3-18, and all who register will get a role.

Show Synopsis
Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!
Production Experience
This summer mainstage production offers a fast-paced but FUN education in musical theatre: singing, dancing, and acting, while working towards a culminating production of Disney's Frozen Jr! Everyone who registers will receive an on stage role. Through small group and full cast rehearsals and tech week, cast members will receive training in acting, singing, and dance technique. At the end of our rehearsal time together, cast members will showcase their learning in a fully produced production with costumes, sets, props, lights, and special effects!
Tuition & Other Associated Costs
Tuition for this production is $550 and covers all rehearsal time, rehearsal materials, and cast t-shirt. Financial assistance and payment plans are available. Please email 7dramaticarts@gmail.com for info.
Costumes may require a costume fee to cover rentals, alterations, cleaning, and other associated costs.
Tickets to the performance will be available to parents for purchase prior to the public sale for $10 each.
Full Schedule
A full rehearsal schedule is attached below. Please look over it closely to make sure your cast member has minimal conflicts with the rehearsal process and zero conflicts with tech week and show dates. At audition you will have an opportunity to tell our Production Team of any known conflicts with the rehearsal schedule. We will take note of these and plan accordingly.

Frozen Jr may feature small group and full cast rehearsals. You will be able to mark your calendar for small group rehearsals according to the role your cast member is cast in. We will try our best to honor all conflicts given at auditions!

Auditions
Auditions for Disney's Frozen Jr will take place at 7Dance Centre (55 Hillsboro St, Pittsboro, NC 27312)​ on May 31st from 5-7:30 PM. Those wishing to audition must register to recieve the signup link and aduiton materials (a preapred scene and song). Materials will be sent closer to the audition date.
