An enchanting adaptation of the timeless fairytale, Cinderella brings new life to the story of a young woman forced into servitude who dreams of – and achieves – a better life. Cinderella features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago.”

Show Synopsis
An enchanting adaptation of the timeless fairytale, Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella brings new life to the story of a young woman forced into a life of servitude by her cruel stepmother and self-centered stepsisters, who dreams of a better life. With the help of her fairy godmother, Cinderella is transformed into a princess and finds her prince.
Production Experience
This 7DA Main Stage production will offer an exciting education in theatre: singing, dancing, and acting, while working towards a culminating production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Everyone who registers will receive an on stage role. Through small group and full cast rehearsals and tech week, cast members will receive training in acting, singing, and dance technique. At the end of our rehearsal time together, cast members will showcase their learning in a fully produced production with costumes, sets, props, lights, and special effects!
Tuition & Other Associated Costs
Tuition for this production is $250 per month, billed over the months of production (January - March) and covers all rehearsal time, rehearsal materials, and cast t-shirt. Financial assistance and payment plans are available. Please email info@7dramaticarts.com for info.

Costumes may require a costume fee to cover rentals, alterations, cleaning, and other associated costs.
Tickets to the performance will be available to parents for purchase prior to the public sale for $10 each.
Full Schedule
A full rehearsal schedule is attached below. Please look over it closely to make sure your cast member has minimal conflicts with the rehearsal process and zero conflicts with tech week and show dates. At auditions you will have an opportunity to tell our Production Team of any known conflicts with the rehearsal schedule. We will take note of these and plan accordingly.

Cinderella may feature both small group and full cast rehearsals. After auditions, you will be able to mark your calendar for small group rehearsals according to the role your cast member is cast in. We will try our best to honor all conflicts given at auditions!

Auditions
Auditions for Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella will take place during the first scheduled rehearsal. No experience is needed to participate in this production. While everyone receives a role, auditions are still held to place each cast member in the perfect role for them. After registering for the production, an email will be sent to the parent/guardian with instructions for accessing the scenes needed for auditions. They will be asked to act using materials provided ahead of the audition.
